Worshiping Safe - COVID-19 Resources

Staying Safe

To open up our worship as much as possible, we must abide by the Chief Health Officer's directions regarding religious services and community facilities.  What does this mean?

  • The Sunday services and community facilities are open only to those who are fully vaccinated against Covid-19.  This applies to those over 12 years old.

  • Masks are optional but recommended where you can't social distance.

  • Checking in and hand sanitisation is mandatory

  • Communion will be offered as bread only with hygiene measures in place.

  • We will be following cleaning protocols after each service or event.

Please contact our parish priest if you have any questions or concerns.

How do I prove my vaccination Status?

By showing us your digital or paper vaccination certificate.  Lots of Information in how to do this can be found on this page:  Click here.

What if I have a valid exception to not be vaccinated?

It must be a medically approved exemption.  You must show it on arrival and you will be treated as though you are vaccinated.

What if I don't want to be vaccinated or delear my vaccination status?

We encourage everyone to be vaccinated, however, we will also provide spiritual care and worship opportunities for those who are not vaccinated.  Please contact our parish priest to find out more.
